
All the snow melted in my yard until more fell yesterday. Today the yard is covered in 5-12 inches - depending on the location in the yard. A snowy landscape is quite beautiful, but much to cold to bare. Here's a lovely picture I took at Snowbird, UT while snowboarding for the first time in over 12 years. This was the first spot I stopped to rest on the way down. My thigh muscles were on fire at this point and I took a few more rests along the way. Needless to say, my rear-end was numb by the time I reached the bottom.
After a few runs, I decided I had enough...

My boys would love to snowboard there. I think they are ready for a new hill while I, on-the-other-hand, wouldn't try it in a millon years!
Looks like fun. If you're going to have to endure the negatives of snow, you might as well enjoy the fun as well! congrats on the on-fire thighs!
Hey Utah girl! We're twinners. I do believe you are the only other Shadow Shooter from Utah. We are up in North Ogden so we shoosh the slopes of Powder Mountain. Gotta do something with all this snow!
