eCards from Grandma

Today I received another eCard from my Grandmother. She's been sending them once or twice a month now for about a year. We also call each other more often than ever and though I can't tell her, the sudden increased contact over the last two years makes me fear losing her. My Grandmother always seems healthy when we speak, but I still can't help but wonder if she reaches out because she knows instinctively her time may be limited.

So, tonight after receiving another eCard from my dear grandmother, I decided to send her more than a thank you and more than an eCard in return. Instead, I wrote what I wanted her to know, while she is still around for me to tell.

I love you Grandmother and am grateful and lucky to have such a wonderful woman as my Grandmother. I think about you all the time and quite frankly fall apart any time I let myself think about how much I miss you and never want to imagine life without you. You are a huge part of my life, heart and favorite memories. I LOVE you Grandmother.
